The measurement range depends on the type of antenna and the dielectric constant of the medium
The waveguide radar level gauge Level Touch M is used for continuous measurement of the level of liquids and bulk media with an error of ± 3 mm. The level gauge works according to the principle of measuring the pulse travel time along the waveguide to the surface of the medium being measured and back.
The LevelTouch F magnetostrictive float level gauge is used for continuous measurement of the level of pure liquid with an error of ± 1 mm. The level gauge works on the principle of measuring the time between the generation of a current pulse and the registration of the front of the reverse ultrasonic wave, which is formed in the area of the intersection of the magnetic field of the float and the waveguide.
